Too much probably

Why ask this, is the car in for a service and they've rung to say you need new tyres?

Personally I'd try your local tyre emporium(s) or https://www.mytyres.co.uk or https://www.blackcircles.com

When i left mine in for service they rang saying it needed new tyres on the rear, which I knew anyway, and also needed new brake pads on rear. Were going to charge me £114+VAT per tyre!! told them to stick it cos i could get them for £55 else where. They then went on to say they could give me ones at £55 also, so just took them for handiness sake when i was getting rear brakes done also. don't know what make they are, but i'm sure they aren't great. came away with bill for £460!! Nice!!

I've since put two Kumho's on front, which seem ok so far, better than the crap that was on anyway!!

What have owners had fitted on Meganes from new? I was pleased to see 4 (plus presumably the full size spare) Michelin Energy's, which I've had on 2 previous cars and liked.

Got a good deal on ebay the other day.
This guy had bought a new megane for his wife, drove it for 100 miles then put on a set of 18"wheels.

Got a set of standard 16" megane alloys, the same as already on my estate, with tyes still with nobbly bits on, (mich energy), for £250. I thought that was pretty good, they were as brand new, I didn't really need them, but I'm sure SWMBO will start kerbing the car pretty soon anyway
Bri.
