Re: headlight bulb passenger side
But there is no spring clip how is it held in
Re: headlight bulb passenger side
There should be a clip to hold the bulb try taking the connecter of as it might be behind that. I also found that taking the car battery out was a easy way of doing the bulb as you then don't need to take the wheel of and on the drivers side pull the windscreen washer bottle out its just the tube that you put water down. Last thing if you do take the battery out make sure you know the code of your radio if not I'm sure you can ask here for a code
Re: headlight bulb passenger side
Took off wire connector bulb sits in some sort of square holder no spring but held firmly in place
Re: headlight bulb passenger side
Can I ask what year your car is?
Re: headlight bulb passenger side
Just Googled it and there's a post saying you push a screw driver into one side and it's a retainer clip
Re: headlight bulb passenger side
Cheers will look tomorrow it is 2008
Re: headlight bulb passenger side
done it in under 10 mins passenger side turn wheels full lock to the right, slightly jack up car (gives you more room to work) remove screws holding on wheel arch plastic pull it back gives you a good view of the bulb depress small and i mean small retaining clip bulb will pop out push new one in a little twist and it locks in place. Reverse process easy (took about 4 hours over 2 days to work out) but it no longer holds any fear for me
