Check Injection - But runs fine

Postby burton » Tue Oct 09, 2012 1:00 pm

Hi All,

For the last week I have had the Check Injection message appear, now I have an intermittent handbrake light and stop sign appear and then goes off. Seems to happen more pulling away or coming to a stop

Car runs fine, good power and starts with no stalling at lights.

Just wondering what might cause this, checked the glow plugs and they all seem fine, I did clean the EGR valve when there was no power last year. Do these need doing regular?

Thanks

the handbrake light and stop sign are because its a little short on brake fluid. i cant help with the check injection fault but if u ask me it sounds like a glow plug that needs changing .

Hi,

Thanks for that, will check/put some more fluid in.. I may have a weeping nipple.. Oo er

Not sure it can be that as I have followed the checks for the glow plugs and they have passed with all being the same voltage.

More brake fluid has cured one issue, now back to the 'Check Injection' light!
