This is how my car start off life as when i got it 1 year ago
Image

This is what it looked like in Scotland after I removed the "Megane" on the boot and tinted the back windows. Also painted the break calipers red and added some mudflaps.

I removed the original air filter and added a panel filter
Image

I had the DPF removed but it looked a mess so got it done properly. Below are before and after pics
Image
Image

I've removed the carbon wrap on the renault badges and wrapped the panel inbetween the front and back doors
Image

Then I added a double din touch screen with sat nav ect. Took a while to get the steering wheel controls working but finally done it.
Image

Added some HIDs
Image

I also sanded down the 1.9 and sprayed it silver. I think I done quite a good job and am happy with it
Image

Then with the help of 123*Reggie I we installed a freeview box in the armrest which im really happy with
Image
Image

Also painted the cailpers as close to body colour as i could get, tinted the front windows and added wind deflectors
Image

Also added front and back chrome surround number plates but you cant really see it in this photo

The silver door handles were on the car when i got it so sorry cant help u there. the head unit however is a xtrons one. Not had any problems with it. I know in 2011 they changed the software on them so if you get one make sure its a 2011 model

How did you get the badges black pal?

The hard way?

Also, that looks smart!

Updated my post with photos at the top of this page but also done a mod that i didnt include in it. It went completely wrong and cost a bomb. I wanted to sort out my roof lining so after covering it in 7L of PVA tried covering it in carbon wrap which was a complete disaster. Then I tried wrapping it in dilon which wasnt much better. Finally leather flux which came out a bit better but still looked messy. Its back to standard now but photos of my disaster are below

I take my hat off to you for posting those roof lining pics! I think I would have burnt them lol!

Did you take the roof lining out to cover it or do it in situ?

Everything else looks great, top job. I like the mud flaps, I think they look good on the darker cars so am tempted. Do you have to drill any bodywork?

Lol I spent so much money, time and effort on it as well I was gutted when it looked so sh*t Had to go to the scrap yard and buy new roof lining and pillars ect. I took the roof lining out the car to do it.

As it was such a nice day i decided to make the most of it and clean my the car. Its nice and shiny now :D

Sorry dan forgot to say yeah I drilled into the body work to attach them but I believe they do some mud flap clips to Incase you don't wanna drill.

Lol I'll never do anything like that again eddie it was so frustrating! Annoying thing is I reckon it would have looked pretty damn good if it had worked.

Hi Nice update, how did you go about replaceing your DPF, i'm toying with the idea of replacing it as it's basically come to it end of life as had car diagnostics on it and its basically knackered after 130k on it. So do I go with a new DPF which I can get for £300 ish and then need to get my ecu reconfigured or do i bite the bullet and take it out completely?

Thanks

Ste
