silvershaow the water ingress in your door may of been where you poured a bucket of water in your self.

as for the wings corroding they are plastic so therefore shouldnt corode thats if you do have a megane II or a new reno

ABS light on (ABS ring)

i have just recently changed the rear wheel bearing on my megane and upon doing so the ABS ring came off, and so did the black sticky silicone sealent that was behind it. i replaced the ring to the back of the disc with some ordinary silicone and after a short while off driving it the abs light came...

removing tracker rod

hi can any one tell me how to remove a tracker rod not the end ball joint but remove the actual track rod from the rack. i have never removed one of these before so just wondering if any one knows how to do it n give me a few tips.

sounds to me like the bolt is fitted where the bottom ball joint is attached to the strut, holding the ball joint at such an angle to camber the wheel more. but i would say that holding the ball joint at this angle is going to put unneccassary strain on the joint. i imagine the people who have these...

pretty sure its the nervasport alloy, do a search on ebay for it theres loads on there not cheap thou, pretty sure someone is selling one cheap in the for sale section

nick the light that is on is the orange service light that is at the bottom of the clocks not the one that tells you your car needs a service. i am pretty sure the only way to turn this kind of service light out is to connect it to a renault clip computer as i am sure brands like snap on and other b...

i read this yesterday but didnt relise the age of it. i once had a old shape megane on a s reg and before you could start you would have to lock and unlock the doors once. this was renos imobiliser for the megane so its likly urs has this device, but it may just be faulty so therefore intermitent.

yes this is a common problem the steering lock has knacked 99% sure. the car will not start and the locks are coded to the ecu. the locks are only suposed to be removed while they are unlocked, making it a b*****d to get off. i managed to get 1 for £260 but most renaults charge £310

i think we should have a seperate section for window problems as there is that many of them cloging up the ownership problem section.
