Water coming from behind centre console
sit rep: Recently i realised the clock/radio display never turns off. Even when ts locked or double locked. It now displays no temperature at all. Today i noticed water on the mat in the passenger foot well and removed the cover on the side of the centre console to find the foam below the wiring and...

Re: Gear knob
Well, i used wet and dry to prepare the insert for spraying then lacquering today. But, once I'd got it all down to the black plastic I liked the feel of the plastic so much ive put it back in as it is. It feels like the same smooth plastic as that around the hood over the clocks and around the cloc...

Re: oil for 1.9 dci 120 bhp
Yeah, a fully synthetic 5w40 is the best oil possible if you think things are fragile.
It may cost a bit more but its worth it, also you could change your oil more often

Re: Steering controls with HU..!
I've been reading a few of the steering controls threads and their quite a few people complaining about the response being slow.
Id just like to know if this is the case with all people? or are their some that are instant?

Re: Limo Black Tints !!
When a bike's involved, its his fault 99% of the time in my opinion, they have no lane discipline at all cutting through dangerous gaps. As far as I know, the guy that had the crash that caused the ruling to be changed last(i think its the case your referring to), his tints measured about 90%, so wh...

Re: Megane 225 Cambelt advise needed
I don't know what other people think but i would never get anything done by Renault anymore to be honest. Ive had too much bad experience with them doing more harm than good to my car :-( The kind of price u pay makes you expect the dogs b******s in terms of service but their just not good enough. I...

Re: Boost Gauge on 1.9 DCi
1 bar wouldn't be enough if it boosts to 22psi.
1 bar = 14.5psi
I don't know anything about boost pressures but given 1 bar is normal air pressure I though it'd be higher than 22psi.

Re: ARE MY WHEELS COMIN' OFF?
Have you owned the car long? and has it had a crash previosuly?
It sounds like major issues with the whole suspension/steering system.
If its as bad as you are saying then i would have thought some of the problems should be obvious to a local garage.

Re: New spark plugs and new horn!
